March at Klamath Art Association
Photo Dye Transfer Art Exhibit
The March exhibit at the Klamath Art Gallery, “Coffee is My Friend”, will feature photo dye transfer textiles by Mickie McCormic. She works with images from her own photographs or does digital scans of objects then transfers them on to vintage fabrics. Her work includes large scale as well as smaller pieces of art. The exhibit will open on March 4 with a public reception from noon to 4 p.m. The exhibit closes on March 25. The Klamath Art Gallery is located at 120 Riverside Drive. Gallery hours are Thursdays through Mondays from noon to 4 p.m. Admission is free. In the spring we feature the Modoc High School Art Show.
September showcases our Annual Modoc Festival of The Arts.
In November the Modoc Artists Showcase and in December is the Holiday Gift Gallery.
Classes: Call us for information. Some classes may be available for college credit through Lassen College.
Artists are welcome to bring or mail in samples of their art items for consideration for consignment, either as a featured show in the Gallery or in the Gift Shop. The Art Center charges 30% commission.

Membership Drive: You can become a member for $30 per year per family.
The benefits of becoming a member includes using The Art Center facility to make pottery, paint, etc.
The membership drive is from April 1st to July 1st.
